    Right now I'm wrapping up the upcoming season for Warehouse 13 and hopping to Mythbusters as needed.

    25 Unknown Things About Kate Andrews



    We get a peek into the youngest of the Mythbusters (Discovery Channel) and resident Warehouse 13 (SyFy) geek Kate Andrews (24) and find out everything from the now infamous happy dance over explosions to one purse constant.

    1. I have my bachelor's degree in both studio art and astronomy from UC Berkeley.
    2. You'll always find a bag of cinnamon nuts and a bag of taco chips in my backpack.
    3. Jeans, t-shirts and sneakers are a fashion staple.
    4. One fast way to tell how long it takes to test a myth, watch the streak in my hair. It changes color pretty often. The standing record is 5 changes during testing of one myth.
    5. I can't sing to save my skin.
    6. My happy dance has become infamous! It all started during an early epsiode when I happy danced over a huge explosion.
    7. I can rattle off the whole list from Weird Al's "Hardware Store".
    8. I love fast food, especially Del Taco and In N Out Burger.
    9. Blood does make me sick. I even tried self hypnosis as part of a myth but I puked anyway.
    10. I know the words to every song from Monty Python. Also makes for a fun way to torture the boys ;)
    11. I almost tried out for So You Think You Can Dance while in college, my form is hip hop. But in the end maybe it was a good thing I never went through with that idea.
    12. I make my own convention costumes. This year I'm thinking something Hunger Games based.
    13. I get a kick out of the fact Tory (Belleci) will quote the Scarface bit everytime a gun or cannon is part of a myth.
    14. I put grad school on hold but plan on getting my masters at some point.
    15. I want to show girls via Mythbusters that science can be very cool.
    16. Dr.McNinja came about via a line I overheard in line at McDonalds once.
    17. I hate the gym!
    18. I still have massive geek-outs. Just ask anyone what happened during the panel for Warehouse 13 last summer at Comic Con.
    19. After Warehouse 13 got renewed I finally moved into my own apartment, lived with the same crew since college.
    20. My ringtone is the Hampster Dance. Plus if you are close to me I theme the ringtones to the person.
    21. My real name is Katherine but I've gone by Kate since high school.
    22. I hid behind my laptop for the first couple of years of Dr.McNinja's web life, only came clean at Comic Con last summer.
    23. I have a massive salt tooth.
    24. I'm allergic to walnuts and love classic rock.
    25. My motto: there is always something to smile about.
